For Coaches
Below are some key requirements, this is only a summary and should not replace the rules and regulations determined by Capital Area Soccer League. Please visit CASL for complete details.
Coaches Responsibility

Each player needs to complete the CASL medical release form. Coaches MUST carry the CASL medical release form to all games and practices

All players have signed the Code of Conduct form.

All players have read and signed Concussion Facts.

Complete background check (through GotSport account)

Compelete concussion training (through GotSport account)

Establish assistant coaches and make sure they have all the requirements fulfilled.

Ensure each player has proof of age. Proof of age must be submitted for all players at least once in their lifetime while playing in CASL. Proof of age can be:

Birth Certificate

Passport
-
Adoption Certificate

Certificate of Naturalization

School Record

All CASL coaches must obtain at least a USSF E license within (1) year of coaching any CASL team.

All coaches (including assistants) must apply for and receive a risk management clearance from MSYSA via GotSport.

Team invoices are due August 31st for fall and March 31st for spring. Late fine will occur, see CASL website for details on fines.

Establish team communication (TeamReach has been a useful communication app)

Individual player registration must be submitted by August 1 for fall and March 1 for spring
